GA Industries SURGE RELIEF VALVES protect against waterhammer surges created by a sudden flow stoppage such as a pump shutdown or valve closure. They are designed to open quickly in response to a pressure rise and close slowly after the pressure subsides. Our engineering department will analyze the surge potential of your system upon receipt of a completed "Surge Analysis Checklist." For more information, refer to Bulletin W-200.
