Ball check valves are non-clogging and are ideal for use on the discharge of submersible sewage pumps. With no external moving parts ball check valves can operate submerged and can be installed vertically immediately after the base elbow. They can also be installed horizontally in a valve vault providing there is at least 10 ft (3 M) static head at its outlet. GA Industries Figure 240-D and Figure 242-D Ball Check Valves are available from 1-1/4” (DN32) to 12” (DN300) for up to 150 PSI (1,034 kPa) working pressure.
