GA diaphragm actuated emergency cut in valves automatically connect the downstream system to a supplementary supply in the event the downstream pressure falls to a preset minimum. Once opened at the minimum pressure, the valve will remain open as long as the downstream pressure is below an independent, higher closing pressure. The valve closes when the downstream pressure rises above the closing pressure and will not re-open until and unless the downstream pressure falls below the minimum. GA diaphragm actuated emergency cut in valves can be supplied with additional functions such as inlet pressure sustaining, downstream pressure limiting, check and/or solenoid shutoff functions. See individual Data Sheets for details.
