Pilot-Operated Open/Close Solenoid Valves

  • Uses double-cushioned Golden-AndersonÒ differential piston main valve to minimize slam and waterhammer.
  • Sizes ½ to 2-inch (12 to 50 mm) standard all bronze globe body with screwed connections.
  • Sizes 2½ to 42-inch (65 to 1,000 mm) available in globe or angle body with ANSI, BS, DIN or ISO flanges.
  • Available in normally open (energize to close) or normally closed (energize to open) with AC or DC coils in a wide variety of voltages.
  • Can be supplied with integral "stop-check" piston to prevent backflow in the event of flow reversal.

Function and Applications

Opens fully and closes tight in response to electrical signals. Municipal and industrial uses include remote push-button operation, tank level control in response to level switches, irrigation sprinkler systems by means of a timer, batch process control such as cooling water to strip mill, etc.
