"ELECTRIC CHECK" Pump Control Valves for Sewage and Dirty Fluids

  • Heavy-duty pump control and check valve especially designed for sewage service actuated by water or oil cylinder or by electric motor.
  • Built in mechanical check prevents flow reversal on power outage or failure of controls, precluding need for separate check valve.
  • Long radius 900 elbow or in-line wye body with ANSI, BS, DIN or ISO flanges.
  • Standard heavy cast iron body and stainless steel trim in sizes 2 to 24 inches (50 to 600 mm) for pressures to 400 PSI. Other materials and higher pressures available.
  • Available in many variations to accommodate virtually any control scheme.
  • Can be supplied with Pump DirectorÒ pre-wired control panel to simplify installation and properly sequence pump and valve operation.

Function and Applications

Installed on discharge of sewage pumps to control pump start-up and shutdown surges, especially high head sewage pumps when surge control is critical. Also used on industrial wastewater pumping applications for corrosive or caustic fluids.
