Established by E. Golden and Edward V. Anderson as "Golden-Anderson Valve & Specialty Company" in Pennsylvania in 1895. GA Industries LLC designs, manufactures, and markets a wide range of valve products including check valves, air valves, ball valves, butterfly valves, plug valves and automatic control valves, focusing on the needs of the water and wastewater industry. Each valve is built on over 100 years of design, manufacturing, and application experience to ensure dependability and performance.
Early 2016, GA Industries LLC changed its legal name to VAG USA, LLC., to reflect the wider portfolio of products, services and solutions now available to customers in the field of water and wastewater, for dams and hydro power, industry and power plants.
Our team of problem-solving engineers and network of sales representatives work closely with design professionals and end users to choose the right valve for the application. VAG engineers employ computer modeling and hydraulic analysis of system data to aid in the valve selection process, especially for pressure surge, waterhammer, cavitation, and other critical control problems.
VAG's roots go back to 1872, the year in which Carl Bopp and Carl Reuther set up a special factory that manufactured pumps and industrial valves. In just a few years, Bopp & Reuther was a company with international standing.
The sales company VAG-Armaturen GmbH was founded when Bopp & Reuther and a number of other valve manufacturing companies joined forces. Already in the 1920s, VAG was the market leader in South America. The frequent introduction of innovative products soon gained the company the reputation of pioneer.
For decades, VAG has been moving towards becoming a modern, global solution provider. Today, the VAG-Group has manufacturing sites in Germany, the Czech Republic, China, India, USA and South Africa. Our experience and extensive know-how continues to flow into the development of innovative products and solutions for water.
